About this ride
An unforgettable all-day desert adventure through some of the most dramatic landscapes in Southern California. We climb Old Highway 395 up to the Temecula wine backcountry, then drop down the legendary Montezuma Grade (CA S22) to take in world-famous views out over the Anza-Borrego Desert.
Starting from North County San Diego, this roughly 200-mile round trip heads east through scenic San Diego backcountry to the world-renowned Anza-Borrego Desert. It's a full day in the saddle, fully guided by a local San Diego native with four decades of riding experience.
